Position: Director of Technical Sales and Marketing

Job Summary: Amuneal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Technical Sales and Marketing to report directly to the CEO. This role needs to bring an entrepreneurial and customer-focused perspective to our team, in support of a high-touch, technical, customer base. To be successful in this role you must be able to develop and foster meaningful, mutually beneficial, and long-lasting relationships with a diverse group of customers across the country and around the world. Leading a team responsible for Amuneal’s technical sales, marketing, customer service, and estimating, candidates need to possess the demonstrated ability to acquire technical expertise, allowing them to become deeply knowledgeable in our fabrication processes, material science, and our customer’s business needs. This role will collaborate with executive leadership, and each functional area of the business to ensure exceptional performance on behalf of our customers, and success in helping to inform and achieve our long-term business strategies. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a technical or business-related field, have demonstrated success in a management or leadership role, and consider themselves to be a disciplined leader and problem solver, with a strong technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and track Sales and Marketing strategies that can be implemented through your actions and by your team, to nurture existing customer relationships while fostering new customers, markets, and opportunities for sustained, and healthy growth.
• Establish, monitor, and report measurable and trackable sales forecasts, budgets, team performance goals, and customer targets necessary to achieve short-term and long-term business goals.
• Define and drive continuous improvement in the customer experience throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from initial developments of shielding strategies and budgets, to the quality and consistency of proposals, contract reviews, and proactive communication throughout the fabrication process.
• Mine and analyze customer forecasts and data to create accurate sales forecasts and communicate the accompanying production and material demands to other functional team leaders internally.
• Develop and implement best practices for estimating, pricing, and collaboration with other internal business leaders.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, establishing Amuneal as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of Amuneal’s fabrication processes and the field of magnetic shielding to maintain Amuneal as a leader and generous collaborator for companies looking to optimize the most cost-effective shielding strategies.
• Review and negotiate long-term contracts and purchase agreements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across your team and our cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and finance, and quality.
• Represent Amuneal as a technical expert at in-person industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize individual and team performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field preferred.
• Proven experience in responsibility for customer experience and building strong client relationships.
• Deep technical aptitude and ability to grasp and build upon complex engineering concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
• Comfortable operating alongside other executive leaders, collaborating on strategic initiatives, and contributing to company-wide decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in the fabrication process and a strong desire to expand knowledge in the field of magnetic shielding preferred.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,283.42 - $75,007.99 per year
